At Crane Hire Direct Ltd safety is at the forefront. All of our operatives are trained to the Construction Plant Competency Scheme (CPCS) and Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) standard, which are recognised by all major companies in the industry as the required standard.

We employ Appointed Persons who are available to plan and supervise lifting operations as required  under Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998. We can also provide a full Contract Lifting service, which relieves you of the responsibility of preparing a Method Statement, Risk Assessment and of managing and supervising the lift, thus ensuring that the lifting operation is fully compliant with BS7121 (Code of Practice for the safe use of cranes).
