Not sure what crane is suitable for your lift? We can send an experienced member of our team out to your site to decide. During this visit our team member will evaluate the following:

What size of crane is required?

This is determined by the weight of the load to be lifted and the distance from the crane at which the lift will take place (known as the 'radius').

What are the other factors affecting the lifting conditions?

Overhead power lines / cables / obstacles.

Underground drains / services.

Excavations.

Unstable or soft ground.

Hazardous materials.

Confined working area.

Restricted access - width or height.

Other vehicles, equipment or personnel.

Other hazards or site specific conditions.

What does a site visit involve?

A Technical Representative of Crane Hire Direct Ltd will visit your site at an agreed date and time to assess all of the conditions listed and those specific to the site. Any questions that you have can be dealt with promptly during the visit and the lifting operation can begin to be planned.
